Weymouth and Portland

Weymouth and Portland currently have four web cameras, situated around the borough:

London 2012 Sailing Venue at Portland Academy
Click here to view Academy Web Camera

From this camera you get an excellent view of the London 2012 Sailing Academy at Osprey Quay Portland. This camera has been brought to you in partnership with The Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy and the South West Regional Development Agency(SWERDA). The camera is buffeted by the wind occasionally, but then that is an important requirement of a sailing venue.
Beach Web Camera

This Camera is currently situated in the Pavilion Theatre overlooking the Beach and Esplanade.
Weymouth Esplanade Web Camera

This camera views Weymouth Esplanade looking east towards Greenhill. It is located on the Beach office.
Town Bridge Web Camera
Click here to view Town Bridge Camera

This camera views Weymouth Town Bridge from the back water (inner harbour) looking out towards the sea. The Bridge joins the parish of Melcombe Regis with the parish of Weymouth and the view is from the Melcombe Regis side of the Bridge.
Harbour Web Camera
Click here to view Harbour Web Camera

From this camera you get an excellent view of the Georgian harbour (circa 1805). The harbour is still a commercial port with a regular ferry to the Channel Islands. Among the many industries supported by the harbour are boating excursions for fishing, diving, or just a day cruise to view the magnificent Jurrasic coast. Weymouth harbour is also a popular place for visiting sailors.
