StarDot network cameras to work with exacqVision

StarDot Technologies’s high definition and megapixel network video surveillance products are now supported by the ExacqVision Technologies video management systems system (VMS).
The companies announced an interoperability partnership this week and indicated that StarDot’s Video Image Engine processor specifically found in the StarDot NetCam SC cameras would be supported by exacqVision.
The software from Exacq allows for management of a variety of video sources, including standard analog surveillance cameras, network/IP surveillance cameras. The Exacq VMS platform is designed to handle both standard and megapixel resolution images and can work with a number of compression formats.
“We’re extremely pleased to offer support for StarDot’s high definition IP video cameras to the exacqVision Video Management System software,” said Exacq Presdient Dave Underwood. “The demand for reliable, cost-effective high definition video in the security industry continues to grow and StarDot meets that need.”
