Webcam Choreography : SOUR Includes Fans in Music Video

This music video was shot for Sour’s ‘Hibi no Neiro’ (Tone of everyday) from their first mini album ‘Water Flavor EP’. The cast were selected from the actual Sour fan base, from many countries around the world. Each person and scene was filmed purely via webcam

The “mini album” was released last month, and it’s their fourth official release. The three piece band is set to play at Tokyo’s Neutral Nation 09 festival on July 12. Check out the new music video after the jump: Each person does their part, and the glow-in-the-dark concept makes an interesting effect. Support the band at the SOUR’s official website. The video was probably inexpensive to make, which adds to the growing list of DIY music videos by indie bands, like BJSR’s recent video shot with an iPhone. Sour went one step further and let their fans participate. Can you imagine any other creative ways artists might include their fanbase in their work?
