Spy on tourist sites in real time

ABCwebcam, the Internet webcam network responsible for web broadcasts of New Years Eve from Times Square, is making it easier, and clearer, to spy on a few of the world’s most popular tourist destinations from home.

Thanks to new video technology, you and I can watch the bustle of Buenos Aires’ Financial District, Times Square, and even pandas at the Atlanta Zoo in real time websites. Spend some time browsing at home and you have a mini-vacation that’s both convenient and budget friendly.

I clicked on the Niagara Falls cam first. Now, I love the Falls and clearly remember the amazing view of Horseshoe Falls from my room at the Embassy Suites Fallsview while there on a media trip last summer. Surprisingly, the webcam image was able to hold its own against my memory. I almost felt like I was in Niagara Falls again, watching water gush over Horseshoe Falls while clouds of mist billow toward the sky.

“The growing AbcWebcam network will bring millions of visitors an entirely new experience and each view reveals a unique look at daily life in the world from exclusive angles and vastly expanded archives that are entertaining, visually dynamic and educational.”

AbcWebcam‘s most visited live sites include New York, Leicester Square, London, Prague City Center, and the Statue of Liberty. Newly added cams feature the New England Aquarium, Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel, Seattle Space Needle, Punta del Este, Uruguay, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and Puerto Rico. Many cams include sound.
