Logitech Alert Security Cameras Keep Watch From Anywhere
The Logitech Alert digital video security system comes with a host of goodies: motion-triggered built-in DVR, 130-degree wide-angle lens, 720p video. But what’s got me most excited is the ability to watch the feed from pretty much anywhere.
The Logitech Alert 750i Master System and its weatherproof cousin, the Logitech Alert 750e Outdoor Master System, both include the ability to watch recorded video and adjust camera settings from the web, through a smartphone app, and eventually even from your TV. You can use up to six cameras at once in concert, and the set-up seems to be a fairly straightforward plug-and-play situation. They also come with 2GB MicroSD storage, which is enough to capture up to a week of video.
The hardware costs $299.99 for the 750i and $349.99 for the 750e, while you’ll probably end up paying an additional $80/year for the Logitech Alert Web and Mobile Commander.
